Volkswagen: 'My Car Superstar'

Mr. Neelabh Khandelwal owner of Volkswagen Polo has been announced as the winner of “My Car Superstar” contest held by Volkswagen India. Mr.Khandelwal who is based out of Pune has a Volkswagen Polo which has been chosen by the star cast and the director of the movie “Go Goa Gone” to use the car in the movie.  Starting this year, the Europe’s leading car manufacturer had announced the first ever car audition for the customers of Volkswagen present in the country. Through this audition, customers enjoyed the unique experience of being able to get their car to cast in the movie which will be soon screening in the cinemas of India.

Mr. Lutz Kothe who is the Head of Marketing & PR in the Volkswagen Passenger Cars said that the contest was exciting and has engaged the customers in a unique way. The company is happy with the kind of promising response they have received from the customers of Volkswagen. The auditions of the cars were exclusively initiated on the Volkswagen Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/volkswagenindia) where the customers were asked to upload the picture of their Volkswagen carlines. Total 480 customers participated in the contest which was held for a period of 10 days.
