According to the car maker, the car has space and features in abundance when compared with the other cars in the executive saloon segment. The materials used in the making of this car are superior in quality and infuse more luxury feel to the car. Hustling under the hood would be powerful 1.8- liter petrol engine coupled with a six-speed manual and the next generation XTRONIC Continuously Variable Tranmission (CVT) gearbox. The Xtronic CVT aids in improving the performance and fuel efficiency of the car. It has also been speculated that the engine of Renault Fluence which is 1.5-liter K9K diesel engine capable of generating a peak power of 108 BHP could also provide services under the hood of Nissan Sylphy.
