Maruti Suzuki Brezza 2022-2026

The 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift has been launched in India. It is the first major update to the second-generation Brezza since its debut in 2022.

While the overall SUV remains familiar, Maruti has refreshed it with updated styling, a redesigned cabin, new features, and an additional turbo-petrol engine option.

Up front, the Brezza gets subtle but noticeable styling revisions. It features redesigned grille, and an updated bumper that gives the SUV a fresher appearance. Higher-specced variants also get a new chrome-finished grille garnish in place of the earlier silver insert, adding a more premium touch.

In profile, the familiar boxy proportions remain unchanged, but the refreshed 16-inch alloy wheels help distinguish the facelift from the outgoing model.

At the rear, the changes are minimal. It retains the wraparound LED tail lamps, roof spoiler, shark-fin antenna, and signature 'BREZZA' lettering on the tailgate. The bumper design has been slightly tweaked, but the overall rear styling has been carried forward.

The cabin receives more noticeable updates than the exterior. It gets a slightly redesigned dashboard, a new steering wheel, refreshed door pad inserts, and an updated climate control panel that gives the interior a modern appearance.

Higher-spec variants feature a new brown and black dual-tone cabin theme along with leatherette seat upholstery, giving the interior a richer look.

The redesigned front centre armrest now offers additional storage, while rear passengers continue to get AC vents, USB charging ports, seatback pockets, and a centre armrest with cup holders.

The biggest update inside is the new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

It is complemented by features such as ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, a heads-up display, connected car technology, and a single-pane sunroof.

Safety equipment includes six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, and front parking sensors, which are a new addition with the facelift.

• All but the top-end variant are available with CNG but CNG isn’t offered with an automatic transmission

Maruti Brezza LXi variant

• This variant gets the basics including steel wheels with wheel covers and halogen projector headlights.

• Inside it gets electrically-adjustable mirrors, front and rear power windows, 60:40 split rear seats and a rear armrest. It also gets manual AC with rear AC vents.

• Safety features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, hill-hold, ISOFIX and rear parking sensors

Maruti Brezza VXi variant

• The VXi is the first variant you can get with an automatic transmission.

• Visually, this variant doesn’t look very different from the LXi except the Bluish Black and Brave Khakhi colour options are now available.

• Height-adjustable driver’s seat, a rear defogger, 7-inch touchscreen, 4 speakers and steering-mounted controls get added in this variant. You also get adjustable rear headrests and electrically-folding mirrors

Maruti Brezza ZXi variant

• The exterior gets notable upgrades with painted alloy wheels, LED DRLs and LED headlights.

• Adds wireless support for Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, uses a more advanced SmartPlay Pro touchscreen interface and gets 2 tweeters.

• This variant also gets a sunroof, cruise control, colour MID and push-button start.

• Safety is enhanced with a rear view camera, rear washer and wiper.

Maruti Brezza ZXi+ variant

• Adds precision cut alloy wheels and fog lamps to the exterior.

• Gets more features such as a head-up display, wireless phone charger, rear USB fast chargers, front armrest and cooled glovebox. 

• Safety is enhanced with a 360-degree camera and auto-dimming IRVM

• If you’re on a tight budget you can get the LXi and add some infotainment features as per your preference,

• Get the VXi mainly if you want an affordable automatic transmission car.

• Our recommended variant would be the one-below-top ZXi.

Spy shots of the upcoming Brezza facelift suggest it will be more of a minimal revamp. However, with this small update, if Maruti adds popular features and makes the design look fresh enough as well as a lower price tag, the Brezza facelift should have an upper hand than most of its rivals.
