Volkswagen India is all geared up and prepared to sell the new 2012 Volkswagen Touareg SUV in the country very soon. Rumor has it that the official launch will take place in next few months. The 2012 Volkswagen Touareg has been sited many times on the Indian roads and is already been selling in numerous international markets. This second generation model of Touareg will be positioned as the flagship SUV from Volkswagen India and would be placed just below Audi Q7 Crossover SUV.

2012 Volkswagen Touareg is basically a five seater SUV, which is a total stunner altogether. Also, the company claims it to be about 20% more fuel efficient because of its smart and clever 8 speed automatic gearbox. The company hasn’t compromised on the safety gears as well. The SUV comes with eight airbags, anti lock braking system together with ESP and EBD. The 18 inches of alloy wheels fit perfectly in beautiful wheel arches, whereas Bi-Xenon headlamps, LED daytime running lights and the panoramic sunroof further add more charm to the entire look of the car.
