Chevrolet Teases Sail Sedan Trailers, Launch by Feb 1st Week

After showing up the upcoming Chevrolet Sail Sedan on the company's website, now the company has teased the car with three exclusive videos ahead of its possible launch in the first week of February 2013.
The company has already launched the Swift rival, Sail U-VA hatchback back in November 2012, now the Sail sedan will compete with the likes of Swift Dzire, Toyota Etios and others. The upcoming Sail Sedan will have the similar 1.2-litre SmarTech, 4-cylinder petrol and 1.3-litre multijet diesel engine, which also power the hatchback version of the car.
The 1.2-litre Smartech petrol is the similar engine that does its duty Chevrolet Beat, which churns out the maximum power output of 84bhp and 116Nm of torque, while the 1.3-litre diesel engine delivers the impressive 77bhp and 210Nm of torque. Expected to be priced around Rs 6 lakh, the Sail Sedan will have the five-speed manual gearbox as standard.
As far as the features are concerned, the all new Sail Sedan will have good features like twin airbags, ABS and EBD. So, we will soon have a one more potential product in the jam-packed C-Segment, which is currently dominated by Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire.
The reason behind calling it a potential product are some truly impressive features, its impressive appearance and the proven and potent fiat sourced 1.3-litre multijet engine, used by the Swift Dzire.
