General Motors likely to increase price of cars

General motors is likely to increase prices of its models like compact car spark. The president of General Motors has accepted that condition is getting worst. The new prices of Chevrolet cars would be applicable very soon.
He announced in conference. A new car would be lunched very soon that would be automatic transmission based captive the luxury sports utility vehicle.
He assured that current finance crisis will not impact company’s plans at all as transmission plant in Maharashtra & Chevrolet sedan Cruze and mini car are being planed to lunch in this year. Company is designing diesel engines in capacity of 1L to 1.5L which would not only be given in new cars but exiting models also .Company would be able to produce engines by early 2010 . Cruze and mini car were presented in Paris motor show. Company is working on both models (Cruze & minicar) to make comfortable for Indian car lovers.
According to Mr P. Balendran vice president of G.M we had plan to sell 85000 cars but It couldn’t be gained the target for last two quarter due to finance crisis.
