The Honda Elevate SUV’s second-from-base V variant commands a premium of more than a lakh rupees over the entry-level SV trim. Not only does it get some useful infotainment and safety feature upgrades over the SV variant, but it also is the entry-level variant if you want the Elevate with an automatic transmission at a premium of over Rs 2 lakh. For the premium that the Elevate V commands over the base-spec SV, the former gets useful additions in the form of some comfort and convenience features, and safety tech as well. The Honda SUV now gets an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, and a 4-speaker music system. Safety additions include a reversing camera with guidelines and a rear defogger. It’s also the entry-level variant if you want the SUV’s petrol-CVT combo.

Why Skip The Elevate V?

Although the V variant gets some premium comfort and convenience features along with additional safety tech over the entry-level variant, you still don’t quite get a premium experience for the jump. If you truly want an ‘elevated’ experience over base, we recommend you stretch the budget to the next trim (VX). For a further premium of under Rs 1.5 lakh, Honda is offering the Elevate VX with functional features such as wireless phone charging, a single-pane sunroof, LaneWatch camera, and even 17-inch alloy wheels.
