New Chevrolet Captiva launch around the corner

General Motors is all set to rock the Indian car market with its versatile line-up. Recently the company launched the Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 in India. During the launch of Chevrolet Tavera Neo3 the company announced the launch of the reinvigorated version of the Chevrolet Captiva. The company would be conducting the launch of this refreshed version of Captiva in the next two to three weeks in the Indian car market. The facelift version of Chevrolet Captiva was showcased at the 11th Auto Expo in New Delhi. This new Captiva will be powered by a 2.2-liter diesel engine that drives a peak power of 184 BHP.

The Chevrolet Captiva has Hyundai Santa Fe and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport as the major contenders in its segment. The company has also announced that it will roll out Chevrolet Sail hatchback in June and the Chevrolet Enjoy MPV by October 2012. The MPV launch will be followed by the launch of Chevrolet Sail sedan. Both the hatchback and the sedan versions of Sail along with the MPV Enjoy have been built in collaboration to the General Motor’s Chinese partner SAIC.
