It’s time to celebrate for those who love the Volkswagen brand as the German automaker has got a good news for them. The news is that the second generation of Volkswagen Touareg is probably going to be brought to India. According to the sources, it is being expected that the second generation Volkswagen Touareg will be there in the country till February next year. The Volkswagen Touareg is a heavy Sports Utility Vehicle which shares its components with that of the Porsche Cayenne and Audi Q7. It is a surprising fact that this SUV, even after having so many impressive features, has been sold in confined numbers in the SUV market.

The automaker Volkswagen has the freedom to import the new version of Volkswagen Touareg with the options of V6 petrol, V8 petrol and the V8 diesel engine. But still, it has not been made clear that which one of these will do the opening.

The Volkswagen Group (India) has been successful in selling 32,359 cars to the Indian customers during the period from January to September. Together the automakers like Skoda, Audi and Volkswagen have successfully delivered 32,359 cars in comparison to the corresponding period in last year which saw the sale of 13,956 cars.
