Sailesh Bolisetti wins 1st race in Round 4 of Volkswagen-JK Tyre Polo Cup India 2010
Sailesh Bolisetti, championship leader and the young driver from Vishakapatnam won the 1st race of Round 4 of the Volkswagen-JK Tyre Polo Cup India 2010 at the Irungattukottai Race Track, Chennai and thrilled the spectators. The local popular hero Vikash Anand gained the second position ahead of Parth Ghorpade. Bolisetti finished the race in 25 minutes and 35 seconds and won his fourth race of the season.

The race was flagged-off by Gert Bergmann, Member of the Board of Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt Ltd. Bolisetti stated that it really a difficult race and he was happy to win over there. The conditions were difficult and he was not ready to take any risks. He had to defend himself for the last 5 laps but finally he is happy with his performance, added Bolisetti. Second placed Vikash Anand expressed his joy by saying that he feels great at his second position and it was a close battle with Bolisetti. He also thanked Volkswagen for giving him a great car that weekend. Like these two winners even Parth Ghorpade, the winner at the third place commented that he really experienced a good race and was very happy with the pace of the car.
Prithviraj Siddappa, Head of Motorsports, stated that it felt good to have their first race in Chennai. The whole team has had a really tough weekend with the changing weather conditions. Hats-off to the mechanics for being quick with the tyre changes and getting the cars ready on time. he also said that he is looking forward to having many more successful Polo Cup races in Chennai.
