    Porsche has appointed Volkswagen as the new exporter for its car in the Indian market, with this new appointment the European company is eyeing to amplify its hold in India. Porsche is looking forward for positive sales growth across the local market and is eyeing to enhance its business set-up. Porsche is seeing India as one of the key markets; the opulent class figures are increasing with the economic boom makes it a promising market for the brand. Porsche’s new division has set its eyes on all distribution related areas for Porsche in India; will increase the brand’s share and presence with further development of dealer network. Anil Reddi, will be the head of operation, he has almost 16 years of national and international automotive experience.

    Porsche is looking forward to search new opportunities across India even further.  The emerging markets of the world is no doubt important for Porsche’s future, and with the augment of new models the company is ensured about its growth in the sub-continent.  The company has sold about 1052 units in India since 2004 and in the year 2011, 85% of the total sales were of Cayenne models. Anil Reddi, Head of Porsche Division at Volkswagen Group sales India Pvt. Ltd states that building on the already growing success won’t be a problem and it’s is something that are looking forward to embrace with pride.

     

    The Indian consumers demand a lot from their vehicles and the company not only fulfills them but go beyond their expectations. The first step in this new endeavor is going to be the introduction of new generation Porsche 911 Carrera, a breathtaking sports car that according to the world could not be bettered. With the already popular Cayenne model, Porsche also wants the Panamera Diesel model, which is going to launch soon to grab the centre stage.  The pulsation is already started with the launch announcement of Porsche’s new SUV Macan, which is expected to drive in the auto markets in the year 2013.
