    Volkswagen Polo R Line
The 1.2L engine comes mated with a six speed manual transmission. The turbo petrol engine, being a triple cylinder . Volkswagen claims a whooping 17 kmpl for this car, which is quite a wonder considering it is tough to congregate an average of more than 12 kmpl on the 1.6L four cylinder petrol engine Polo, which is available in the Indian market as the top of the line variant in the Polo line up.  Volkswagen 1.2 turbo petrol engine selling in the United Kingdom, is a good option from the German brand to roll out in Indian, which promises to be much more fun to drive than the fuel consuming 1.6 Liter engine. In disparity, the turbocharger equipped 1.2 Liter TSI engine churns out much more torque right from the go.

    Volkswagen Polo R Line

The 1.2L Polo R-Line TSI is performance wise quite impressive to say the least. The zero-hundred sprint is as quick as 9.7 seconds, which is much faster than many other expensive cars. The top speed is of 190 kph, which is again more than you ask for in a budget hatchback. The Polo price is tagged at Rs.13 lakh that makes this car a little too expensive for Indian sensibilities. However if  Volkswagen India uses its loacal facilities to produce the car, it will cut down the cost and will help it to retain the extra couple of doors, then perhaps the car can fetch plenty of buyers.
