    Volkswagen sells 6185 units in May 2011

    The Volkswagen brand sold 6185 vehicles in the month of May 2011, a growth of 244 percent over 1796 vehicles sold in May 2010. The Polo and the Vento continue to be the backbone for the brand with a total of 5889 units sold in May 2011. The recently launched Passat with BlueMotion Technologies also saw an impressive response from customers with 184 units sold last month.
