The long maintained market leader, Maruti Swift has finally got a stiff competition which stand shoulder to shoulder in the segment and the model is most beautifully designed, Volkswagen Polo. Earlier the Indian auto market was ruled only by Maruti Swift and if a person had bto buy the a hatchback then the best option was there in a close by Maruti outlet but now the other option is also available as the best initiative taken by the General Motors.

The largest syndicated automotive study in the country, TNS Automotive, recently went through a rigorous study on the Customer satisfaction and now has released the results. The survey was base on 9300 new car buyers. Not the results dpict anther eligible name when it comes to ‘Most Satisfying’ hatchback.
A total of 56 models were taken into consideration for determining the various customer satisfaction areas which includes sales, vehicle performance, product quality, brand image, after sales service and cost-of-ownership.

Another mportant facts revealed by the company includes- the North Indian car owners have lesser satisfaction as compared to that of the customers in other parts of the country with major reason being the after sale services. Moreover the study says that the customers based in bigger cities are more satisfied with their car models. The report also reveals that the low end customers are also demanding better featured car now which is alarming for car models like Tata Nano and Maruti Alto. The report also says that higher priced cars are more satisfactory than the lower priced ones. All in al the Indian auto market though growing at exponential rate has not compromised the customer satisfaction at all.
