VW’s Chakan plant to be inaugurated tomorrow
Volkswagen’s Chakan plant will be inaugurated on Tuesday. VW’s Polo hatchback and sedan will be manufactured from here. Skoda Fabia will be produced in the plant after two months. It is expected that both the cars will be launched in India next year. The hatchback is expected to launch within the first quarter of 2010 and the sedan in the second quarter.
