Nissan Sunny sales tripled in Jan, all thanks to its diesel variant

It is no secret that the Indian auto market is getting dieselized day by day now. Almost every prominent car maker is launching the diesel version of their cars, due to the soaring demand of diesel cars in the country. Recently, Nissan India brought the diesel version of Nissan Sunny sedan, which helped it sales to grow much stronger than before. According to the sales figure, Nissan Sunny sedan grabbed about 3,218 unit sales in January 2012 and this was mainly because of the diesel version of the same.
